Some time ago, we returned from Sri Lanka with a group of friends. Our trip was organized by wonderful people – Piotr Drozdowski and his wife Ania, together with Gayan K. Aluthgedara, the owners of Dreamlanka. What can I say… to this day, we are still reliving and reminiscing about the beautiful moments, the places we saw, and the encounters with incredibly friendly people.

I would like to share a wonderful experience and wholeheartedly recommend www.dreamlanka.pl, the company that organized our entire trip from A to Z. My only task was to buy the flight tickets – they took care of everything else.
We traveled with two children (aged 3 and 6), and everything was perfectly tailored to our needs.
Dreamlanka planned everything: from selecting hotels, through transport and attractions, to sightseeing. The entire itinerary was ideally adapted to our suggestions and expectations. I simply said what I was looking for, and they truly took care of every detail.
Additionally, we had a comfortable van for transportation, which made the whole journey convenient and safe, especially for the children.
Importantly, they supported us at every stage of the trip. When our flight was rescheduled, they quickly arranged an extension of our stay, allowing us to enjoy our holiday without any stress.

I don’t know what made us sadder – that our holiday was coming to an end, or that we had to say goodbye to Dilan.

Two days ago, we returned from Sri Lanka. We had the great pleasure of traveling with a local guide, Kevin, who collaborates with Piotr Drozdowski – together they create Dreamlanka.
Kevin turned out to be fantastic and was with us throughout our entire stay on the island. Without hesitation, I can recommend him to anyone planning to visit Sri Lanka. He is a very kind and friendly person – always punctual, professional, and an excellent storyteller about his country.
The itinerary was tailored to our preferences, but we were free to modify it at any time – Kevin would take care of everything. He is flexible and made sure we felt comfortable and safe at all times. He showed us places where we felt as if we were the only tourists on the island, surrounded only by locals.

A few days ago, we returned from our holiday in Sri Lanka. We travel quite a lot, but we had some concerns about this trip due to the distance and cultural differences. We like experimenting with different travel styles – for example, we explored Georgia in a 4x4, and did Cyprus and Greece as a mix of hiking and local transport. This time, we decided to go with Dreamlanka – a complete package including itinerary, car, accommodation, and a driver-guide. We had our doubts, but…
After landing in Colombo, we were welcomed at the airport with flowers by Kevin, whom we had been in constant contact with via WhatsApp before the trip. That alone was impressive!
Shortly after, we got into a fresh, air-conditioned car with our driver-guide, Kushan. From the very beginning, Kushan was smiling, witty, and articulate – he made us feel completely safe. Our first destination was about a 2-hour drive away, and Kushan knew exactly what we needed to refresh and recharge after the journey – a stop for fresh coconut water and a coconut snack… amazing.
From that point on, it only got better. I won’t describe every single day, but I’ll say this: Kushan – our guide, driver, bodyguard, negotiator, and organizer – became our friend in Sri Lanka. He shared insights about the country’s history, politics, and economy. No request or question of ours ever went unanswered. Every day was perfectly planned, yet full of surprises and attractions – both for the soul and the body. From museums and temples to stunning waterfalls, and from incredible local restaurants with great music to unforgettable meals.
A visit to Kevin’s family home for lunch completely blew us away. It made us feel like more than just tourists.
To sum it up – this trip organized by Dreamlanka fulfilled 120% of our dreams about this beautiful island and its wonderful people. We are already planning future trips to Vietnam and Cambodia, and we hope to find people with the same passion and approach as the Dreamlanka team.

If anyone is considering exploring Sri Lanka with a local driver/guide, we highly recommend the best one you could possibly find: Ruvindu, who works with Dreamlanka.
We traveled across a large part of the island with Ruvi for about a week, and it was an unforgettable experience. He was not only our driver, but also our guide. He took care of everything and looked after us in the best possible way. Thanks to him, we got to know the places we visited much better, and we also learned a lot about the culture, traditions, and everyday life of the Sri Lankan people.
The itinerary was perfectly organized and tailored to our preferences regarding places and activities we wanted to experience. Everything was seamlessly connected, and we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Ruvi recommended not only interesting – sometimes hidden or less touristy – spots, but also took care of buying tickets (including train tickets) and suggested restaurants along the way – every single one was a great choice.
Over those few days, we built such a connection that saying goodbye was truly difficult.
During the trip, we unfortunately caught a cold and also had a sprained ankle. Ruvi didn’t even let us worry about it – he organized doctor visits and even an X-ray at a clinic in no time.

We have just returned from our trip to Sri Lanka. As we usually like to combine relaxation with sightseeing, this time we decided to use Dreamlanka’s help in organizing a round trip. It turned out to be a very good decision.
The itinerary was flexible (it was modified several times, even during the trip), and the cost breakdown was clear and transparent. The offer included a detailed sightseeing plan as well as suggestions for additional attractions in each location, which we could choose to include depending on the time available. My name is Radek, and together with my wife Ania and our son Jurek, we try to spend our free time traveling and exploring the world.
We started with trips to large hotels, but over time that model of travel stopped satisfying us. For the past few trips, we’ve been organizing tailor-made journeys ourselves or with the help of companies like Dreamlanka. On a daily basis, we are quite busy, and we often plan our trips at the last minute, which sometimes causes additional stress or makes our travels feel a bit unorganized.
This time, while planning our trip to Sri Lanka, Ania came across a recommendation for Piotr and Kevin from Dreamlanka. We had very little time before our vacation, but we quickly managed to set the flight dates and book our tickets.
Piotr and Kevin promptly prepared an initial offer for us, including a general travel plan and accommodation suggestions. As we are quite demanding and already experienced travelers, we made a few adjustments to the plan together with Piotr, and then we were basically ready to go.
In terms of care, road safety, knowledge about Sri Lanka, and overall organization, we are truly satisfied with everything we experienced. However, no trip would be complete without some challenges to overcome.
Due to our limited budget, limited hotel availability, and possibly not being clear enough about our expectations—that we enjoy active sightseeing during the day but expect comfort and a touch of luxury in the evenings—our final hotel turned out to be unsatisfactory. Since we were supposed to spend several nights there, we asked Kevin for help.
Within just a few hours, Kevin and Piotr found us an alternative—a different hotel with a very good standard and extremely friendly service. All of this happened without any stress on our side. Honestly, we were shocked. I believe very few, if any, large travel agencies would react in such a way and resolve the situation so quickly, saving the final days of a client’s vacation.
For this, we extend our heartfelt thanks to our organizers.

We have just returned from a two-week family trip (2 adults and 2 children aged 11 and 13) to Sri Lanka. We explored the Cultural Triangle: Sigiriya, Dambulla, and Polonnaruwa; went on a safari in Wilpattu National Park; visited Trincomalee, Pigeon Island National Park, Pasikuda, Ella, Lipton Seat, Little Adam’s Peak, waterfalls, the famous train, the 9 Arches Bridge, Galle, and Colombo.
We managed to complete such an impressive itinerary thanks to the excellent service provided by Dreamlanka.pl. We spent over a dozen days in Sri Lanka. It was a beautiful trip and time very well spent – largely thanks to #DREAMLANKA, who organized our stay. The itinerary was arranged in Poland with Piotr and carried out on-site by Kevin and Jayasana. Our 3-week trip to Sri Lanka was planned six months in advance. By pure chance, we came across Dreamlanka, and with the help of Mr. Piotr, we created our travel plan. All our wishes were taken into account, and Mr. Piotr also helped us find affordable airline tickets.

Confidence and comfort – that’s how I would describe the service provided by Dreamlanka. The founder, Piotr, is Polish, which makes him a more aware organizer, understanding the expectations of fellow countrymen :) For the locals, it seemed funny when a group of Poles ran after monkeys with cameras while he was explaining the history of ancient temple ruins.
We really liked the itinerary Piotr created – we also had the option to make our own changes and be picky about accommodations! ;) And yes, when we could be picky and complain, we were happy. Most of our stays had pools (even private ones!), with beautiful views or on deserted beaches!
Sri Lanka turned out to be paradise on Earth. Our local guide, Kevin, working with Piotr, was always smiling and ready to take us anywhere we wanted 24/7, which made the trip extremely comfortable! He also helped us in town whenever no one spoke English. He assisted with luggage, guided us to good and cheap local food, and most importantly – helped us climb onto a swing for the perfect #insta photo! :)
Kevin also warned us about dangers we weren’t aware of (leeches in the jungle? Who would’ve thought! :D).
An unforgettable journey to an unforgettable country – a true gem in terms of landscapes and wildlife! I could go on and on because it was experience after experience, with breathtaking sights, funny situations, and memories we’ll talk about for years :) Highly recommended, I’ll definitely go again!

Sri Lanka is a burst of positive emotions. It’s not just spectacular views and fantastic cuisine, but also the people – incredibly polite, warm, humble, and always smiling. From the very beginning, we were accompanied by Sujeewa Kumara from Dreamlanka. Our driver didn’t just transport us from point A to point B – he also guided us around cities and always had suggestions if we didn’t know what to see in a given place. Of course, it was up to us whether we wanted to explore on our own or take advantage of the guided option and learn interesting facts from a local guide.
For our trip, we used the driver mainly during the sightseeing portion, and we spent the last three days relaxing by the ocean on our own. Tangalle was our choice, which was lovely, though next time we might pick a more tourist-oriented town like Mirissa or Weligama for easier access to shops and more restaurant options. That said, our stay in charming local spots throughout the trip was incredible!
Our top must-visit places in Sri Lanka were definitely Ella and Sigiriya. In Sigiriya, we stayed in a fantastic hotel amidst rice fields with excellent local food. Ella offered breathtaking views, mountains, tea plantations, and waterfalls – nothing more needs to be said.

We returned on Thursday from an eleven-day stay in Sri Lanka.
There were four of us, all 60+, so we asked Mr. Piotr to prepare a program tailored to our age and fitness level. We also requested a guide who could speak at least a little Polish. We received a detailed plan with hotels, suggested attractions, and pricing. Everything suited us, so we chose Dreamlanka. Communication with Mr. Piotr was excellent – he responded quickly to all our questions regarding the trip. Kevin showed us numerous archaeological, religious, natural, and cultural attractions characteristic of Sri Lanka. We were able to enjoy stunning views, the sounds of the jungle, and the flavors of this extraordinary country. Everything was perfectly arranged. We felt safe and well cared for.

I love Asia – its scents, sounds, warm air, people, views, and culture. Many years ago, I traveled solo with a backpack. This year, I decided to go on a trip with my 10-year-old son, just the two of us. I am not objective, because Peter is my husband :D In any case, the adventure he organized for us exceeded my wildest expectations. Sri Lanka absolutely delighted me. Especially this Sri Lanka "from the kitchen", or rather "from the jungle" ;) Exoticism in its pure form. Attractions completely different from those in travel agencies, negotiated by my husband directly from the locals.
We saw wonders we would never have experienced hiking the beaten path. I was personally most impressed by the Rathna Ella waterfall, located in the middle of the jungle, and the deserted paradise beaches near the Kahandamodara lagoon.
I didn't quite believe whether we would fit into the planned budget, but in the end a three-week stay on a paradise island cost us less than a week's All Inclusive in Hurghada :)))
